The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) came into force on 25th May 2018. The aim of page is to explain how Shuffle Design LTD (shuffledesign.co) complies with the requirements of the regulation.

How & why do we collect personal information?

We collect personal data from visitors to this website through the use of online forms. We may collect your details when you email or telephone us with an enquiry or when we meet in person. There are many ways we may acquire your data.When you submit your data to us, either through the website, by email or in person, this is used by us in a variety of ways, specifically:

  • Dealing with your enquiries and requests
  • Providing information about products and services
  • Providing and personalising our services
  • Administering membership of our newsletter distribution list

In all cases, our aim is to make it clear what you are opting into, and you will have given your consent for us to use your data.

We do not pass on our data to any third party.

You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by using the unsubscribe feature on the newsletter.

What data do we collect?

We collect personal data so that we can contact you if you give us consent to do so. Specifically, we collect your name, phone number, email address, company name and website URL.

Where your data is stored

If you are a client, a potential client or a supplier of Shuffle Design, your data will be stored on our encrypted computers and hard drives.

Disclosure

We will not share your data with third parties unless we are obliged to disclose personal data by law, or the disclosure is necessary for purposes of national security, taxation and criminal investigation, or we have your consent.

You have a number of rights in relation to the personal data processed by us about you.

Portability:

You have the right to receive or request that we transfer a copy of the personal data we process about you in an electronic format where the basis of our processing such information is your consent or the performance of a contract and the information is processed by automated means.

Objection:

You have the right to object to our processing of any personal data about you which is based on our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) based on your particular circumstances. You also have the right to object to our processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Data retention and deletion

From May 2018, our policy is to retain personal information related to our marketing for two years.If you become a client – whether or not we market to you – we will maintain your information and that of your employer so that we can do business together. When we no longer work together we will retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary. There is a legal requirement for us to keep accounting data that relates to your business for a minimum of six years.

Third party websites

When browsing our website or reading our newsletters you will often find links to external articles online. These articles may have their own contact forms and various ways of capturing data. This policy does not cover systems out of our control and the links we provide to external website etc. are purely because we believe the information we are providing you with is of legitimate interest to you.

As is common practice with almost all professional websites our site uses cookies such as; session cookies and performance cookies.

Cookies are small pieces of information that allow them to maintain your connection to the website. This website may use cookies for detecting what kind of device you have in order to present content in the best way, for a language switch and/or for other purposes.These cookies do not collect or store any personally identifiable information. How to refuse the use of cookies

Google Analytics

When someone visits shuffledesign.co we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
