We’ve worked on a number of web design projects for hair salons. Bond is the most recent, a Shoreditch-based boutique hair salon that celebrates the individuality and personalities of the trendy community of women who choose them to look and feel amazing.
Bond uses vegan and cruelty-free hair care products created by a team of confessed rule-breakers and innovators. They commissioned us to do the following:
They wanted to create a cool, welcoming visual identity indicative of the Bond brand and the in-person salon experience.
We wanted to capture the essence of the original branding and at the same time incorporate a more editorial style mid-century feel. We used complimentary, yet contrasting, inviting tones, pastel accents, and added soft interactions and animations that mimic the flow and movement of healthy hair.
Using powerful imagery, geometric pastel shapes and en-vogue elegant font combinations, we created an online presence that is trendy and familiar, warm and polished - much like the vivacious team at Bond.
Using our keyword strategy, we planned and implemented keywords in the SEO-friendly copy and tweaked the metadata to boost ranking for keyword phrases such as "Salon in Shoreditch" and similar keyword phrases to improve organic search results.
We researched keywords and ran monthly Google PPC campaigns to reach out to potential customers looking for hair care products and services in and around London. The ad campaigns are doing well, and Bond has requested that we keep them running indefinitely.
We gave Bond's website and branding a modern-chic makeover by capturing the essence of their brand values and imitating the cosy, intimate ‘Bond’ salon experience. Along with an engaging social media brand style guide and Instagram post templates, both the client and us couldn't be happier with the outcome.
