The brief

Happy Hair UK specialises in custom wigs, plus raw and virgin hair extensions. They pride themselves in offering high-end, quality luxury hair for a competitive price – and they wanted their brand to reflect those traits. They commissioned us to:

  • Create a brand that would represent their business model, products, ideals and vision
  • Design and build an online shop for all Happy Hair products

The branding

We wanted visitors to Happy Hair’s site to understand, at first glance, the type of brand it is and the industry it represents. Fun, contemporary branding, cool iconography and a vibrant colour gradient give it a bold, sassy feel – just like the models who showcase its wigs.

We used this edgy style and colour palette across Happy Hair’s business stationery and social media, too.

The design process

We designed and set up an e-commerce shop based on Happy Hair’s target audience profile. We made it easy for them to find their ideal hair piece with clear categories and gave prominence to the most popular products on the homepage.

Beautifully presented images display Happy Hair’s product range in a striking way while serif typography adds a feminine, “fashionista” feel. We did all this using a CMS system – which included training tutorials – so the client could manage and update their website in-house.

The result

We gave Happy Hair a great foundation for their brand – with funky branding, a stylish site, and the tools they need to increase sales and continue building their audience. Now customers can recognise them easily – and have a great online shopping experience.
